Park Winters Wedding | Ugne + Wyatt

Despite living in Reno, Nevada, when Ugne & Wyatt discovered this beautiful Victorian mansion in Yolo County, they knew they just had to have a Park Winters Wedding!

Ugne & Wyatt had an intimate weekday wedding on a perfect July evening. With a guest list of only 66, they were able to celebrate with their closest family and friends and actually spend time with all of them.

The Inn at Park Winters, in Winters, California, was just the right place for them to celebrate their love. The grounds at Park Winters are lush and beautiful, making them the perfect backdrop for a wedding. The mansion is beautifully decorated, allowing for gorgeous interior photos, like the classic “dress hanging in the window” shot!

Be prepared to drool over these photos by Darci Terry Photography (and see even more on her blog).

Ugne was able to get ready and spend time with her bridesmaids and mother upstairs in the Library, while Wyatt and his groomsmen made use of the Tower Suite to hang out and get ready. Having everyone on-site makes the day so much easier because you don’t have to worry about transportation problems. Park Winters has a number of overnight rooms as well, so the couple and close family can stay right on the property.

Ugne and Wyatt chose a pastel color palette, and the florals by Hannah Muller at Full Belly Farm were perfect! The blues and pinks complemented the bridesmaid dresses and groomsmen ties.

This free-standing arch from Blossom Farm Vintage Rentals beautifully framed the ceremony, which was held in front of the property’s koi pond. You should see how many fish are in this pond!

Wyatt’s sister officiated their non-denominational, but still religious, ceremony.

If you’re what we lovingly call “a foodie,” then you can’t go wrong with Park Winters. Their food is top-notch, prepared by a classically trained chef, using ingredients grown on the property. It doesn’t get much more farm-to-fork than that. Their menu changes seasonally depending on what’s growing in the garden. How cool is that?

This old barn on the property is filled with dried bouquets, and is a must-do photo op.

Sunset at Park Winters is always a spectacle. The open space allows your photographer to really capture the sky. Some of my favorite wedding photos are taken during the golden hour just before sunset.
